General
The responsible person/host/legal owner retains the responsibility for the the information submitted to STL form and fire services and the validity of any certificates.
In the case of an STL license application the host/legal owner retains responsibility for the information on the license application and the fees incurred. The host/legal owner will be asked to confirm all information prior to submission.
The responsible person/host/legal owner is responsible for the costs of certificates and supporting documentation.
STL Form Services can advise on available suppliers but are not responsible for engaging them in work, payment for services or their qualifications.
STL Form Services require the full co-operation and input from the responsible person/ owner/host.
STL Form Services reserves the right to cease work on any application where it is felt it could damage the reputation of the business.
STL Form Services reserve the right to report to appropriate authorities where there is considered significant risk to life.
Fees
An initial deposit of 50% of the standard fee is payable in order for us to commence work on your behalf with the full licence application process.
Fire risk assessment payments are due in full prior to the report being presented.
The balance becomes due when the application is ready for submission. Our fee note will be issued to you at this point detailing the total fee including *any incidental expenditure incurred less the deposit already paid. Please note that at this point the application is ready and will be submitted only on receipt of the balance. Any queries you may have must be brought to our attention as soon as possible to avoid any delay in submitting the application on your behalf.
In the case of application and form checking services the balance is due in full at the commencement of work.
Hosts/owners will be advised of any additional costs prior to work being carried out.
Discounts are available on the full application package for hosts/owners with more than 1 property requiring concurrent licence applications. Requests will be determined on the needs of each property but owners are welcome to enquire.

We may disclose Fire Risk Assessment to other professional bodies for audits or quality checks on our business. These organisations are required to maintain confidentiality in relation to your files.
How long do we retain your data?
We only retain your personal data for as long as necessary.
Specific Retention Periods:
We will retain data until the STL application process is complete.
Completed forms will be retained until the renewal date, unless requested to destroy.
Fire risk assessments will be retained for a minimum of 3 years.

We take appropriate and proportionate organisational and technical measures to secure your personal information and data and to protect it against unlawful use and/or accidental loss.

You may request us to provide you with any personal information and data we hold about you. Provision of this information is subject to you providing us with appropriate evidence of your identity.
